Ruaha National Park (The Wild Frontier)

Raw Africa: This is for the safari purist. The landscape is dramatic—ancient baobabs, rocky escarpments, and the Great Ruaha River. It feels untouched and prehistoric.

Predator Paradise: Ruaha is home to 10% of the world’s remaining lion population. The prides here are super-sized, often numbering 20 or more, and they have adapted to taking down buffalo and even giraffe.

Rare Sightings: This is one of the few places where you can reliably see the Endangered African Wild Dog (Painted Wolf) and the majestic Greater Kudu with its corkscrew horns.

The “Southern Circuit” Advantage: Because it is further south, you don’t get the “traffic jams” of jeeps found in the north. It is an exclusive, intimate interaction with nature.
