Baraka Natural Aquarium: Swim with Turtles

Most people see turtles from a boat. Here, you become part of their world. Located in the north at Nungwi, the Baraka Aquarium isn’t a concrete tank; it’s a natural lagoon fed by the ocean tides. - The Interaction:
You can jump right in. The Green Turtles are rescued from fishermen’s nets and rehabilitated here before being released. They are incredibly friendly and will swim right up to you to be fed seaweed (provided by the guides). - Why it’s special:
The water is crystal clear and shallow, making it safe for children and non-strong swimmers. It is arguably the best “selfie” spot on the island. - Combine It:
